Using a watering container, instead of a watering hose, allows you to control the amount of water that you use on your plants. While all plants need water to survive, incorrect watering may be detrimental to your plant babies. As a general rule, water only when the top soil feels dry. If you are unsure, test the moisture level of your soil using a moisture meter. If water level fall below 50%, then it's time to water your plants. Ensure that excess water drains well out of the pot. The soil or potting media should be evenly moist, but not soggy. Focus the nozzle on the roots, and not the leaves.
