INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE
Clean the prongs of the meter with water and clean cloth before and after use. This will keep te readings from being contaminated by previous tests.
MOISTURE
Push switch to the left. Insert the probe deeply into the soil reaching the root level. Keep the probe close to the plant. Note that plant varieties have different moisture requirements. Refer to the table shown in the packaging.
LIGHT
Adjust the switch to the center. Facing the light source, hold the meter next to the plant. Avoid touching the light sensor located underneath the gauge. For required light levels, check the requirements of each plant.
SOIL pH
Push the switch to the right. Insert the probe deeply into the soil. A pH level of 7 is neutral. Lower than 7 is considered acidic. Higher than 7 means alkaline. Check the acidity requirement of your plants. Generally, most plants love acidic soil or pH levels below 6.0.
