PREMIUM SUCCULENT MIX
High Quality Succulents Mix
8-liter per Pack
One of the top mistakes that newbie growers of succulents make is to provide their succulents with the wrong type of soil / potting mix. Succulent soil or media has to have excellent drainage. They are usually made of a combination of organic and inorganic or mineral components. Organic matter helps retain some moisture and deliver the nutrients to the plant, while the inorganic or mineral matter supports drainage (so their roots will not be soaked in water). There has to be a good balance between these two. A mix composed of too much organic matter may result in oversoaked roots and may kill the succulents. On the other hand, too much inorganic matter may deprive the succulents of the much -needed nutrients for them to feed and grow plump.
Our succulent mix is composed of premium organic materials, that include composted coco peat, pine bark, and carbonized rice hull (or charcoal, if available). Inorganic materials (about 50%) include perlite, lava rocks and pumice. We have also infused neem and beneficial microbes which help protect the roots from root-bound pests or from harmful pathogens. We have also added vermicast, an organic plant nutrient made from worm castings. Vermicast acts like a slow -release fertilizer which provide succulents plants with a balanced source of basic nutrients.
