How to use Alfalfa Meal

For most potted plants, we recommend 3 tablespoons per 1-gallon plant pot.  Use as top-dressing around established plants, or mixed with potting media or soil before planting. Watering the area helps activate the nutrients and ensures their proper absorption by plants. It may be combined with other organic materials like Blood Meal,  Feather Meal Bone Meal and Kelp Meal, during application. Repeat application after 6 weeks.

While Alfalfa Meal has no expiry date, it is best to consume it within 2 years from purchase.
